Bharatiya Janata Party Bhopal, Aug 19 (IANS) Seems like people in Madhya Pradesh are leaving no stone unturned to pledge their support for Anna Hazare. While Wednesday saw supporters climbing atop floodlight towers and tying locks to their legs, some animal-lovers took out a procession Friday with cows, dogs and goats!

On the fourth day of Gandhian Anna Hazare’s fast, people in Bhopal donated blood as a gesture supporting the ongoing India Against Corruption agitation. Besides, about a hundred kids dressed themselves up like Anna Hazare and sang “Hum honge kaamyab (We shall overcome)”.

You had to believe your ears when the timid-looking four-year-old Udit suddenly shouted: “Anna ladai kar rahe hain corruption ke khilaf… hum unke sath hai (Anna is fighting against corruption. We are with him).”

Moreover, autorickshaw drivers also did not ply on roads in support of Hazare here.

“Anna Hazare is a messiah for poor, and in India, 70 percent people are poor. But it is we who have to face corruption most and pay bribe at every step. So we are with Anna Hazare,” said an autorickshaw driver.

The lawyers continued with their demonstrations by forming human chain on capital roads.

In Narsinghpur, members of animal welfare organisation People for Animals held a march with cows, dogs and goats.

However, when Bharatiya Janata Party ward commissioners of Indore Municipal Corporation started shouting slogans inside the house, it irked Congress ward commissioners and they presented a garbage bouquet to mayor and pointed out that the city was full of garbage while corporation members were raising slogans against corruption.
