Illegal arms factory unearthed, three held
December 14th, 2010 - 10:19 pm ICT by IANSGhaziabad, Dec 14 (IANS) Three people were arrested during a raid on an illegal arms factory in Ghaziabad Tuesday, police said. Police raided the factory in Sara village and recovered 15 finished and unfinished country-made pistols. A live cartridge of .315 bore, a drill machine, iron rods, nuts and bolts and burners were also recovered.
Those arrested were identified as Mohammad Abdul Kalam, Mursleen and Zahiruddin, all residents of Sara village, said Senior Superintendent of Police Raghvir Lal.
