IGNOU to train Sri Lankan academics
December 12th, 2009 - 3:58 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Dec 12 (IANS) The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will hold a training workshop for a group of academics from Sri Lanka’s National Institute of Education, the varsity said Saturday.
The workshop, ‘Curriculum Design, Development and Evaluation’, will be held Dec 14-23 here.
“The workshop aims to provide the participants with the theoretical underpinnings of curriculum and the major issues related to it. It will also give relevant hands-on experience, keeping in mind the demands of the 21st century,” the official said. The team will visit many schools and national educational organisations.
The National Institute of Education is situated at Maharagama in Sri Lanka.
