IGNOU invites applications for online nutrition course
January 7th, 2011 - 8:42 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 7 (IANS) The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Friday invited applications for its month-long online programme on nutrition to be conducted in February.”The main objective of the programme is to sensitise and guide, policy and programme leaders to rely more on evidence based programming for achieving nutrition-based security and sustainable development,” a statement by the varsity said.
The course, Leadership Programme on Nutrition Security and Sustainable Development, is specifically for those who are engaged in or wish to be engaged in the nutrition sector like policy makers and programme implementers, civil society and public health nutrition professionals.
Graduates in any discipline are eligible for admission.
Last date for submission of application is Jan 15. Details of the programme are available at www.ignouonline.ac.in.
