IFA Shield: Pune FC share honours with Pailan Arrows
March 4th, 2012 - 9:44 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, March 4 (IANS) Pune FC came from behind to draw 1-1 against Pailan Arrows in the 116th IFA Football Shield at the East Bengal ground here Sunday.
Pailan Arrows were the first to score through Holicharan Narzery (17th minute), before Pune striker Mandjou Keita (36th) levelled the match by cleanly converting a penalty-kick.
Pune sprung a surprise by picking goalkeeper Subrata Paul. The game was Subrata’s first since he sustained injury in the Federation Cup encounter against East Bengal back in September.
