I want my dad to be proud of me: Gaga
July 13th, 2011 - 2:57 pm ICT by IANSLondon, July 13 (IANS) Pop star Lady Gaga says her father Joseph Germanotta is one of the biggest inspirations for her music and she wants him to be proud of her work.
“As much as I want the world to be happy, at the end of the day I just want my dad to be proud of me,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying.
The 25-year-old also revealed that her family’s reaction towards her success and fame was confusing — at times.
In an interview on Japanese TV talk show “Tetsuko no Heya”, she said: “They were sometimes worried, sometimes confused. But with all things, with all adversity, it takes time.
“I was very patient with them and they were very patient with me. Now the most wonderful thing about my family is that we are rock solid,” she said.
