I used steroids for six to eight weeks: Charlie Sheen
June 30th, 2011 - 6:35 pm ICT by IANSLondon, June 30 (IANS) Actor Charlie Sheen has admitted to using steroids to enhance his performance for 1989 baseball film “Major League”.
“Let’s just say that I was enhancing my performance a little bit. It was the only time I ever did steroids. I did them for like six or eight weeks. You can print this, I don’t give a f**k,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Sheen as saying.
Charlie said the drugs normally associated with bodybuilders had a positive effect on his baseball throwing skills. He said: “My fastball went from 79 to like 85 (miles per hour).”
Charlie was fired from “Two and a Half Men” after concerns were raised about his conduct off the sets, after he was sent to hospital after a drinks and drugs binge in January.
