Hyderabad: Burglars kill house owner
October 25th, 2011 - 4:56 pm ICT by IANSHyderabad, Oct 25 (IANS) One person was killed when burglars looted cash, jewellery and valuables from his house in Andhra Pradesh early Tuesday, police said.
The incident happened at Ayyappa Society area in Madhapur on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
Two to three burglars broke into the house of civil contractor K.S.N. Murthy. The attackers stabbed him and his wife before escaping.
A profusely bleeding Murthy was shifted to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police suspect the burglars snapped the electricity supply to ensure that they were not caught on the CCTV cameras installed in the house.
