Husband held for killing wife
April 20th, 2011 - 10:18 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, April 20 (IANS) A man who killed his wife here because she would not give him enough money to buy liquor has been arrested, police said Wednesday.
Parvesh Tyagi murdered 35-year-old Nisha Tyagi April 2 night with a pick axe at their house in Keshopur village, taking advantage of the noisy celebrations after India’s World Cup victory, Additional Commissioner of Police V. Renganathan said.
He was arrested Tuesday from Chander Vihar in west Delhi. The couple was married for 17 years and had two sons aged 15 years and 13 years.
