Howard Donald to take flying lessons
July 3rd, 2011 - 6:14 am ICT by IANSLondon, July 3 (IANS) Singer Howard Donald has plans to get pilot’s license after recently splashing out on his own aircraft.
The Take That singer has ordered a special vehicle that can travel both in the sky and on water, and is planning to study for his pilot’s license ahead of craft’s delivery, reports contactmusic.com.
“I’m going to get my private pilot’s licence. I ordered a plane last year from US. It’s an amphibious plane so it can land on water and land,” he said.
“That doesn’t arrive until 2013 so I have got to learn to fly one before it arrives. It’s always been one of my ambitions to fly a plane. Can’t wait,” he added.
