Housewife shot at her house
November 9th, 2011 - 12:29 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 8 (IANS) A 26-year-old woman was Tuesday shot at and injured by three unidentified assailants at her residence in west Delhi over suspected personal enmity, police said.
“The incident was reported from Bharthal village in Dwarka area around 10.30 a.m. when Geeta answer the doorbell at her house. Three people opened fire at her and fled in a car,” a police officer said.
The victim was living with her second husband. Her first husband is in jail in a criminal case.
“The victim sustained bullet injuries in stomach. She was rushed to hospital where her condition is stated to be critical,” the officer said.
“Prima facie it seems to be a case of personal enmity as it was a pre-planned attack,” he said.
