House fire kills two, one critical
December 22nd, 2011 - 4:59 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Dec 22 (IANS) A 42-year-old woman and her son were burnt to death while her husband was critically injured in a fire that broke out in their house early Thursday morning, an official said.
The accident was reported in Sultanpur Dabas area of west Delhi around 3.44 a.m., after which fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
“As soon as we reached there, we discovered two charred bodies, which were later identified as those of Krishna and her 12-year-old son Deepak,” a fire official said.
Fire fighters managed to save Krishna’s husband Narain Singh, who has suffered 90 percent burn injuries and is hospitalised.
The cause of the blaze is yet to be ascertained.
