Hot weather in Delhi continues Wednesday

New Delhi, Oct 12 (IANS) It was a hot Wednesday in Delhi as the temperatures stayed above average and the skies remained clear and sunny through the day.

“The maximum temperature was recorded at 34 degrees Celsius, a notch above average, while the minimum was recorded two notches below average at 22.7 degrees,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The humidity levels wavered between a high of 86 and a low of 43 percent.

The Met office forecast similar weather Thursday and the maximum and minimum temperatures to hover around 34 and 23 degrees Celsius.

Tuesday’s maximum temperature settled at 34 degrees while the minimum was recorded at 22 degrees - both a notch above average.
