Hot Saturday for Delhi
June 16th, 2012 - 11:18 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 16 (IANS) It was a hot Saturday morning in the capital with the minimum temperature settling four notches above average at 32.4 degrees Celsius. The weather office has forecast that the maximum temperature could shoot up to 44 degrees Celsius.
“The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 44 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain clear throughout the day,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 40 percent.
Friday’s maximum temperature was four notches above average at 43 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled three notches above average for the season at 31.5 degrees Celsius.
