Hot Friday in Delhi, no relief Saturday

New Delhi, Oct 14 (IANS) It was a hot Friday for Delhiites as the skies remained partly cloudy and the maximum temperature recorded was 35.1 degrees Celsius, two degrees above average.

The Met office has forecast no respite Saturday.

“The minimum temperature was two degrees above average at 22.4 degrees,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The humidity levels oscillated between a high of 85 and a low of 38 percent.

According to the IMD, skies will remain clear Saturday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 34 and 21 degrees Celsius.

Thursday’s maximum temperature settled at 34.6 degrees, two degrees higher than average, while the minimum was 21.2 degrees Celsius, a degree above the average for the season.
