Hot day ahead for Delhi
May 24th, 2011 - 11:46 am ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 24 (IANS) Delhiites woke up to a hot, bright morning Tuesday. The mercury may touch 40 degrees Celsius later in the day, the weather office said.
Tuesday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 26.3 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.
“The day will be mainly clear, but may get cloudy towards the evening,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The capital enjoyed a pleasant spell of weather over the weekend, with rains bringing respite from the scorching heat.
