Hoax call to blow up Delhi Police headquarters
November 6th, 2011 - 9:52 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 6 (IANS) The high-rise Delhi Police headquarters in central Delhi was searched for explosives after an anonymous caller threatened to blow it up, police said Sunday. The call turned out to be a hoax.
A police officer, who did not wish to be named, said that the call was received at the police headquarters late Saturday evening.
“After the call, police swung into action and thoroughly searched the building. After they could not get anything, an official declared it as a hoax call,” said the official.
