Hizbul commander killed in gunfight
July 26th, 2011 - 12:27 pm ICT by IANSJammu, July 26 (IANS) Security forces killed a top Hizbul Mujahideen commander in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday morning, police said.
Hizbul Mujahideen district commander Sajjad Ahmad alias Mohammad Rizwan, wanted in many terror activities in the mountainous areas, was killed in a gunfight in the forests of Kishtwar, 210 km from here.
“This is a big success,” a police officer told IANS. Other details of the gunfight are awaited.
