Hey mom, it’s Mr Bean up there!
October 29th, 2011 - 9:12 pm ICT by IANSGreater Noida, Oct 29 (IANS) The youngsters, watching the nail-biting qualifying race of the inaugural Indian Grand Prix at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC) Saturday, were in for a sweet surprise when the giant screen flashed popular “Mr.Bean” Rowan Atkinson.
“Hey mom, see Mr.Bean on the screen,” screamed Rahul, 15, an avid fan of Mr. Bean series.
“Hope he is not here to play a prank on F1 drivers,” quipped Rahul as Atkinson pulled a Mr.Beansque puzzled expression watching McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton finishing second during the qualifying final.
Hamilton, however, will start from the fifth spot after he suffered a three-place grid penalty.
British comedian Rowan owns a personal McLaren sportscar.
The actor played the title role in superhit ‘Johnny English.’ His last release in India was its sequel, titled ‘Johnny English Reborn.’
