Haryana to recruit over 7,300 policemen for national capital region

Chandigarh, July 16 (IANS) The Haryana government will recruit 7,372 policemen at various levels for the maintenance of law and order in those areas of the state which fall in the national capital region (NCR) around New Delhi. A state government spokesman said Wednesday that the policemen would be recruited soon.

Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has announced that the state police would deploy 25 deputy superintendents, 116 inspectors, 356 sub-inspectors, 625 assistant sub-inspectors, 1,250 head constables and nearly 5,000 constables in the NCR region alone.
