Haryana to fill vacant posts for disabled
April 21st, 2011 - 8:29 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, April 21 (IANS) The Haryana government has decided to launch a special recruitment campaign to fill up 1,392 vacant posts reserved for the disabled in its various departments, it was announced Thursday.
Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Geeta Bhukkal said that all government departments would have to submit requisition of vacant posts to Haryana Public Service Commission and Staff Selection Commission by next month so that the backlog of vacancies can be cleared.
She said that special employment exchanges would be set up at district level to facilitate people with disabilities to find employment.
