Haryana principal booked for harassing student
October 30th, 2010 - 2:57 pm ICT by IANSSirsa, Oct 30 (IANS) The principal of a government school in a village in this Haryana district faces a police complaint for harassing a girl student of Class eight, an official said Saturday. The accused is absconding.
“Mam Raj asked the victim to prepare tea for him yesterday (Friday) morning. He caught hold of her hand and tried to hug her. But she raised an alarm and ran away,” a police official said here.
“Scores of villagers reached the school and raised slogans, demanding the arrest of the principal,” he added.
However, Mam Raj managed to escape.
