Guru Nanak’s teachings ‘very relevant’, says PM

New Delhi, Nov 1 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has greeted the people on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti Monday, saying Guru Nanak’s teachings remained “very relevant”.
In a message, the prime minister said that Guru Nanak’s teachings of peace and unity were very relevant in today’s world. “A society without discrimination and distinction - the vision of Guru Nanakji — is the vision towards which we should strive,” he said.
