While the world is still mourning the death of the the pop icon Michael Jackson, the grief of Orianthi Panagaris is no less, as she is among the person who came close to the legendary pop star on the days before his death. Searches regarding Orianthi Panagaris came along with the release of the video clip of MJ’s rehearsals for his last tour that was going to take place at London in this July. Guitarist Orianthi was seen jamming with Michael Jackson in the video clip which shot her to fame in days. But her identification is just not merely her attachment as MJ’s co guitarist but also as a a musician who has performed in the Grammy.

Born in Adelaide, this Australian singer has made a mark of herself when she came onstage performing with Carrie Underwood. She is also a known name among the popular guitarists namely, Steve Vai, Carlos Santana, Paul Reed Smith, Eric Clapton with whom she has worked as well. She has impressed the viewers at NAMM which is a major music product trade show in the world .She has not only gone on a tour with Steve Vai but have also collaborated with him while writing songs. Not only that, she moved to Los Angeles to work with Howard Benson who is producing her debut album.
Remembering about the few days she worked with Jackson, Orianthi was quoted saying, “He had this wonderful aura about him, a wonderful spirit. It’s been a surreal time, working with him and its been devastating what happened.”

Jackson along with the others in the group had been reported to have rehearsed for three hours per day even before the day MJ died.This Wednesday, Orianthi Panagaris will be performing in the MJ’s public memorial.
