Guerrillas barge into house, kill one in Kashmir
June 15th, 2011 - 12:13 pm ICT by IANSSrinagar, June 15 (IANS) Separatist guerrillas barged into a house and shot dead a youth in Jammu and Kashmir, police said Wednesday.
The incident took place in Keller village of Pulwama district, 40 km from here, in south Kashmir late Tuesday, a senior police officer said.
Guerrillas barged into the house of 24-year-old Manzoor Ahmed Dar and opened fire, killing him on the spot, he said.
“Militants opened fire from a close range at Manzoor who succumbed before he could be taken to hospital,” the officer added.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the killing.
