The deceased, identified as Himanshu Sharma, along with his friends Rahul, Vikas and Manoj had gone to fill petrol in his father Pramod Sharma’s Honda City car at the petrol pump station in Anand Vihar area late Wednesday.
“The boys were high on beer. As the petrol was being filled in the car, Himanshu got down and went for peeing within the premises. This led to an argument which took an ugly turn. Guard Chandgi Ram Tripathi pulled out his gun and fired five times at him,” said a police officer.
“Himanshu was hit by a bullet and was declared brought dead at the Pushpanjali hospital,” the officer added.
Himanshu’s home is in the nearby area of Dayanand Colony.
Police said a case of murder was registered against Tripathi, 38, and he has been arrested. He hails from Uttar Pradesh.
