Governor pats NCC Cadets for PM banner

Mumbai, Feb 1 (IANS) Maharashtra Governor K. Sankaranarayanan Wednesday congratulated the state contingent of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) for winning the Prime Minister’s Banner and the Champion Directorate Trophy for the third consecutive year at the Republic Day camp.
The governor hosted a reception in honour of the Maharashtra NCC cadets and officers at Raj Bhavan. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh presented Jan 28 the trophy and the banner to the Maharashtra Directorate in Delhi.
The Maharashtra NCC Contingent won several individual and team medals and trophies too at the Republic Day camp held in Delhi.
