Good Friday observed in Meghalaya
April 22nd, 2011 - 8:58 pm ICT by IANSShillong, April 22 (IANS) Christians in Meghalaya observed Good Friday, marking the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, with fasts and daylong prayer services in churches.
Hundreds of Roman Catholic devotees took out a procession to Calvary at the Cathedral Church of Mary Help of Christians here in the state capital.
Other church denominations like the Presbyterian Church and the Baptist Church held their own services.
