Girl commits suicide after failing in board exams
May 27th, 2011 - 4:08 pm ICT by IANSPatna, May 27 (IANS) A girl student committed suicide here Friday after she failed in her Class 12 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exams, police said.
Anjali Kumari (18), resident of Bahadurpur locality, committed suicide by jumping before a train in the Bihar capital. Her body was found near the railway tracks, police said.
Police also recovered her class 12 CBSE examination result.
The case is being investigated, they said.
CBSE’s class 12 results in the Patna region were declared Friday. The results of other regions were declared May 23.
