The World series is one of the major baseball championship in the United States which is hugely popular among baseball lovers. The event is held every year in the month of October due to which it is also known as the ‘October Series’.

The Yankees have registered their 40th American League Victory over the Angels in the sixth game of ALCS last night where they played an intense match together as a team which ultimately ensured their victory.The Yankees won the game by 5-2 which took place at the well-packed Yankee Stadium that housed around 50,173 fans.George officially passed the reins of the Yankees to his son Hal Steinbrenner last year in the month of November.

George Steinbrenner who is also known as ‘The Boss’, is one of the most significant figures in the baseball sports front, and the principal owner of the Major League Baseball’s New York Yankees. He bought the Yankees in the year 1973 and gradually it became one of the leading baseball teams in the United States. He is also a leading business tycoon who is known for his outspoken nature and brash tactics. At the same time, George has sparked considerable amount of controversy at various occasions usually by interfering with on-field decisions as well as driving up the salaries of the players.He was also suspended by the Major League Baseball for various ethical and legal violations.
