Kolkata, May 18 (IANS) National award winning director Gautam Ghosh will make a documentary on the life and struggle of Trinamool Congress supremo and West Bengal chief minister-elect Mamata Banerjee.
“It is true that I will make a documentary on Mamata Banerjee very soon, but nothing has been planned yet,” Ghosh said here.
Ghosh had made a documentary on late Communist patriarch and former chief minister Jyoti Basu.
Banerjee will be sworn in Friday as West Bengal’s first woman chief minister.
The Left Front’s 34-year reign in the state ended in the April-May assembly elections after Trinamool Congress and Congress alliance won a thumping victory by winning 227 of the 294 seats.
The Left Front bagged only 62 seats.
