Bangkok, Feb 6 (IANS) Rahil Gangjee and Gaganjeet Bhullar stayed in the mix, as they moved to tied fifth at the midway stage of the Asian Tour International Friday. The Indian duo is at eight-under 134, while Finland’s Toni Karjalainen began his rookie year on the Asian Tour strongly when he carded a second round 12-under-par 64 to take over the lead.
Overnight leader Marcus Both of Australia is a shot behind after posting a 68 for an 11-under-par 131 total while Japan’s Tetsuji Hiratsuka took third place on 68 at 132.
Also making the cut alongside Gangjee and Bhullar were Gaurav Ghei (69) at four-under 138 and Digvijay Singh (68) at three-under 139. C. Muniyappa (69) at even par 142, Amandeep Johl (73) at five-over 147 and Anirban Lahiri (76) at six-over 150 missed the cut.
Hirotaro Naito finished with a 66 to take fourth place.
