August 23rd, 2010 - 8:06 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Aug 23 (IANS) The official website of the upcoming Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2010 has been redesigned for effective navigation and one-stop interaction with visitors.
Revamped by digital agency Hungama Digital Media, the new website - http://www.cwgdelhi2010.org/ - was launched Aug 19 with the primary aim to provide the 71 participating nations and spectators with a single interaction point.
Redesigned with effective navigation points so that visitors can find what they are looking for as easily as possible, traffic on the website has also gone up by almost 30 percent according to a Google Analytics report.
“Considering the large number of countries participating in the event, we are expecting people to have a variety of queries ranging from venue details, ticket bookings, code of conduct, etc,” said an official spokesperson of Hungama Digital Media, in a statement.
“To highlight and facilitate key information in the most effective and seamless manner, we have revamped the website and have also launched an extensive social media programme for the XIX CWG 2010,” the spokesperson added.
Hungama will also be designing and executing a comprehensive digital campaign for the Games, Oct 3-14.
