Futuristic building expo opens in Delhi Friday
September 22nd, 2011 - 6:27 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Sep 22 (IANS) A building expo comprising an elaborate exhibition with live demonstrations and scale models intended to provide a unique look at the next generation of realty construction and design will be held here Sep 23-25, the organisers said Thursday.
The Innovative, Lightweight, Faster and Sustainable Building Construction Technology (ILFS) expo will provide a platform to different companies to showcase their products and solutions, they said.
India-based show manager Zak Group will organise the exhibition themed ‘Ahead’, with presenting sponsor Saint-Gobain Gyproc, a construction company.
“For companies seeking to bring knowledge and awareness of new technologies and solutions to the industry, the expo will facilitate their objective and allow for a cross section of dialogue and information sharing through the allied activities that will take place,” said Zak Group Director Syed Ahad Ahmed.
“France as our country partner, will highlight the green building technology with the theme of going green the French way… educate the target audience on the latest eco- friendly building materials and technology used in European countries,” he added.
The highlight of the expo this year would be light gauge steel framing building solutions, the fastest way of constructing a building.
The exhibition is being co-sponsored by companies like India-based adhesive manufacturer McCoy Soudal, specialty interior solutions provider Anutone and steel framing machines provider Framecad.
