Fraud victim commits suicide in Delhi

New Delhi, June 23 (IANS) A man, allegedly duped of a large amount of money by businessman Subash Aggarwal, allegedly committed suicide after he came to know about the fraud, police said Tuesday.
Ashok Gupta, 25, consumed poison at his Aman Vihar house in northwest Delhi around 3.30 p.m. He was rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial hospital where he died during treatment.

His family members said he had deposited hundreds of thousands of rupees in Aggarwal’s firm and became tense after he came to know that he has been cheated.

Aggarwal was arrested by the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) June 13 for cheating people to the tune of a billion of rupees.
