Four-year-old killed in hit-and-run case
February 25th, 2011 - 11:06 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, Feb 25 (IANS) A four-year-old child was mowed down by a speeding car here Friday evening, police said.According to the police, the car crushed the child in Sector-23 residential area. The driver of the car did not stop and fled from the spot.
“We have got the registration number of the car and will soon track down its owner and the culprit,” said a police official.
However, police sources said that car was driven by a teenaged boy, who is the son of a leading businessman in Chandigarh.
