Four security personnel injured
February 5th, 2011 - 2:29 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Feb 5 (IANS) Four security personnel were injured in a gunfight with Maoists in Jharkhand’s Khuti district Saturday morning, police said.The battle erupted when a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) unit and state police surrounded Marangburu jungle, 60 km from here, after learning about Maoist presence in the area.
The rebels fired at the security forces as they entered the forest. The gunfight began around 8 a.m. and was still on. The injured were airlifted to Ranchi for treatment.
