Patna, March 31 (IANS) Four people, including a woman and a child, were burnt to death when their house caught fire in a village in Bihar’s Bhagalpur district, police said Thursday.

The incident took place late Wednesday at Tapua village in Bhagalpur, about 200 km from here. “All the victims were of a family,” a police official said.

Police said it was not clear how the house caught fire. They were investigating the incident. Officials suspect the victims died after a burning lamp fell and fire engulfed the room they were sleeping in.
