Four Maoists arrested in Bihar
February 15th, 2010 - 9:19 pm ICT by IANSPatna, Feb 15 (IANS) Four suspected Maoists guerrillas were arrested from two villages in Bihar, police said Monday.
While three rebels were arrested from Mahuar village under Haspura police station in Aurangabad district, about 125 km from state capital Patna, the fourth Maoist was arrested from a village under Bikram police station in Patna district.
According to police officials, two of the three arrested in Aurangabad were self-styled area commander and the one arrested in Patna was the zonal commander of the outlawed Communist Party of India-Maoist.
Police also seized arms and ammunition besides cell phones and other material from them.
