Four Maoists arrested, cash and explosives seized
January 14th, 2011 - 8:14 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Jan 14 (IANS) Four Maoists were arrested from two districts of Jharkhand Friday and Rs.4.75 lakh in cash and explosives were seized from them, police said.Two Maoists were arrested from Jamunia village under Navadih police station of Bokaro district, around 145 km from Ranchi. The Rs.4.75 lakh cash was found at their home.
Two more Maoists were arrested from Chakulia of East Singhbhum district and 150 gelatine sticks, 100 detonators, 23 metres of fuse wire were seized from them. Police also recovered three landmines planted on the roadside at Chakulia.
