Four killed in Pakistan drone strike

Islamabad, Sep 11 (IANS) At least four suspected militants were killed in a drone strike Sunday night in Pakistan’s northwest tribal region bordering Afghanistan, a media report said.

The drones fired two missiles at a house and a vehicle in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, believed to be a stronghold of militants, Xinhua reported citing local media.

Sunday’s drone strike was the 51st in Pakistan in 2011. A total of 455 people, most of whom believed to be militants, have been killed in the strikes.
