Four killed in China bus crash
February 1st, 2012 - 2:53 am ICT by IANSBeijing, Feb 1 (IANS) At least four people were killed and 28 injured after a bus plunged off a highway bridge in China’s Guizhou province Tuesday, said authorities.
The bus, en route from Guizhou’s Zhenyuan county to Huaihua city in Hunan province, crashed off a 20-metre-high bridge after the driver lost control while overtaking another vehicle, Xinhua quoted an official release as saying.
The accident occurred in the morning on an interprovincial expressway linking Shanghai with Kunming city, capital of Guizhou’s neighbouring Yunnan province.
