Four killed as oil tanker hits tractor-trolley
October 6th, 2011 - 4:23 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, Oct 6 (IANS) At least four people were killed and 13 injured Thursday morning when an oil tanker hit a tractor-trolley in Punjab’s border district of Fazilka, police said.
The victims were farmers and farm labourers.
Three of them died on the spot when the trolley overturned on them. The fourth victim died in hospital.
The injured were rushed to the civil hospital in Fazilka, 340 km from here, a police official said. He said the speeding oil tanker hit the tractor trolley from behind on the Fazilka-Abohar road.
