Four killed as bus skids off hill road
February 5th, 2010 - 9:51 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, Feb 5 (IANS) At least four people were killed and more than 20 injured when a bus carrying them plunged down a hilly road in Orissa’s Ganjam district Friday, police said.
The mishap occurred when the bus was passing through hilly terrain area in Sorada police station area, some 350 km from here. The bus, which was carrying more than three dozen passengers, plunged down 30 feet, police officer P.K. Barla told IANS.
“At least 21 persons have sustained injuries,” Barla said.
