Four killed, 29 injured in Jharkhand accidents
December 7th, 2010 - 7:01 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Dec 7 (IANS) Four people were killed and over 20 injured when the bus they were travelling in fell into a ditch in Jharkhand’s Seraikela Kharsawa district Tuesday, police said.
The overloaded bus overturned and fell into a ditch near Duguni village of Seraikela Kharaswa, some 170 km from Ranchi.
Four people, including a woman and the bus conductor, died and more than 20 were injured.
The injured have been admitted to Mahatma Gandhi Medical and Hospital and seven of them are said to be critical.
In another accident, nine people were injured when a bus collided with a truck in Koderma Valley of Koderma district Tuesday, officials said.
