Four killed, 25 injured in Bengal road accident
August 26th, 2011 - 9:45 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, Aug 26 (IANS) Four people were burnt to death and 25 injured when a bus in which they were travelling caught fire after hitting a stationary lorry on the Durgapur expressway in West Bengal’s Hooghly district Friday.
Police said four people were burnt to death after the Kolkata-bound bus caught fire after it hit the lorry from behind at Gurap in Hooghly.
Fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames, police said, adding that 16 injured people were admitted to hospital.
