Four Jamia students make it to UPSC
May 13th, 2011 - 11:14 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 13 (IANS) Four students of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) have cleared the 2010 Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination, an official said Friday.
Saurav Kumar Suman, Rai Mahimapat Ray, Gulzar Ahmad Wani and Jusuf Kabir Ansar were ranked 56, 77, 341 and 740, respectively, the official said.
Out of 5,47,698 candidates, 920 including 717 men and 203 women have been recommended for appointment to the Indian Administration Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other central services.
The UPSC list was released Wednesday.
