Four injured in China quake
June 21st, 2011 - 3:52 am ICT by IANSBeijing, June 21 (IANS) Four people were injured when a magnitude-5.2 quake hit southwest China Monday evening, officials said.
The quake hit Yunnan province at 6.16 p.m., according to the China Earthquake Network Centre.
Four people were injured in the province’s Tengchong county. A few houses were also damaged.
The epicentre was recorded in Mangbang, 40 km away from Tengchong.
The government has sent hundreds of tents, quilts and clothing to the quake zone.
