Four held in Punjab with 15 kg of opium

The drugs consignment was recovered from the bags carried by the accused on a Punjab Roadways bus during routine checking at the Shambhu barrier, 50 km from Chandigarh.
“Their questioning revealed that the opium was brought from Jharkhand state and was being taken to the border district of Ferozepur for delivery. We are investigating their links in the state,” a police official said.
