Anand (Gujarat), Nov 2 (IANS) Four men were held Sunday for their alleged role in the killing of a former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) councillor in this central Gujarat town last month, the police said.Mehaboob alias Ghadiyali Abdul Karim Vora, Ibrahim alias Ghanchi Vora, Yunus alias ‘12 Lakh’ and Salim alias Vakil were arrested while two more suspects are still to be traced, police officials said.
Mehmood Beg and his brother Naseeruddin were stabbed by six people near the railway station here Oct 11.
Beg succumbed to his injuries. Naseeruddin suffered stab wounds and was rushed to a private hospital from where he was recently discharged, said the police officials.
